GI PRE-CLEANER is a water-soluble degreasing and etching solution for the removal of the oil-based protective coating on new galvanized steel after hot dip galvanizing prior to being painted.
This product must be applied to new or weathered galvanized surfaces to create a sound surface that is ready for painting with approved SABRE primers.
For the removal of oxidation (white rust), dirt and surface impurities on new and weathered galvanized iron surfaces.
To etch the galvanized iron surface, allowing the paint system to adhere better.
